I’m thrilled to present a detailed look at our latest project, the 3D commercial teaser for Edge Energy Drink. This project was crafted with immense precision and creativity, combining the strengths of a talented team and leveraging a range of cutting-edge tools to deliver a striking visual narrative.

Team Contributions

 

  • My Role as Environment Artist: My focus on this project was crafting the comprehensive environment in Maya. Through meticulous attention to detail, I established a rich and engaging backdrop that set the foundation for the entire teaser.

  • Ashkan’s VFX Magic: Bringing the project to life, Ashkan’s work in Cinema 4D added impactful visual effects that enhanced the dynamic feel of the teaser, capturing the essence of energy and movement.

  • Mohammad’s Expertise: Mohammad directed the project’s aesthetic and handled key 3D tasks such as texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing to assemble  the final visuals.

Tools and Technologies

 

To bring this project to fruition, we employed a suite of advanced software tools, each chosen for its capability to enhance certain aspects of the production:

 

  • Maya:  I was responsible for building the detailed and immersive environment models using Maya. My work focused on creating realistic settings that supported       the visual storytelling and enhanced the overall product appeal.
  • Blender, Substance Painter, Nuke, After Effects: These tools were primarily handled by Mohammad, who managed rendering, texturing, compositing, and           post-production to bring all visual components together seamlessly.
  • Cinema 4D (C4D): Used by Ashkan for crafting dynamic VFX elements, adding energy and excitement to the teaser.

Conclusion

This project captures the vibrant essence of Edge Energy Drink while showcasing the power of collaboration between skilled artists and modern tools. It reflects a careful balance between creative vision and technical execution.
